For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘‘The Individual’’ refers to the user of Logic’s website and any persons who have registered via the website.
When using Logic’s website, as a user, you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
The Data Protection Act of 1998 (‘DPA 1998’) provides for the regulation of the processing of information relating to individuals who are the subjects of personal data (i.e. the ‘data subject’). ‘Personal data’ includes all data, which relates to a living individual who can be identified from the data and which includes any expression of opinion about ‘The Individual’.
Logic is committed to safeguarding the privacy of the users of Logic’s website. In accordance with the principles set out in the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, Logic will, to the best of their abilities, ensure that the data ‘The Individual’ provides will remain private and will only be used for the purposes detailed in the statement. Any information given to Logic, including CV’s and e-mail addresses is termed as ‘personal data’ in the DPA 1998. Logic is the data controller for the purposes of the DPA 1998.
By using www.logicrecruitment.com [2] and by forwarding on any personal information to Logic, ‘The Individual’ will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
Logic will ensure that they do the following:
Logic will provide ‘The Individual’ with a copy of all personal information that Logic hold or have held about them should they request it although Logic reserve the right to charge a small fee for this service.

If Logic intend to use the information for any other purpose than the search for suitable employment then ‘The Individual’ will be informed of this intention.
The data Logic holds will include personal details (i.e. name, e-mail address and any information, including sensitive personal data) as contained in ‘The Individual’s’ CV and received from third parties. This data will be used in the following ways:
‘The Individual’ has the option to submit their CV to Logic through Logic’s website. This can be done in three ways. The first is by applying for a specific advertised vacancy, the second is sending Logic their CV for consideration for any current or future positions that may arise or thirdly by sending their CV via Logic’s Database Administrator. In all three circumstances, the CV will either be sent directly to a Recruitment Consultant, to the appropriate Recruitment Division or alternatively to Logic’s Database Administrator who will forward the CV to the relevant Recruitment Consultant or Recruitment Division. These details are then stored on Logic’s in-house database and can only be accessed by authorised Logic employees. ‘The Individual’ can update their CV by following the same procedure.
In order for Logic to find the right job opportunity for ‘The Individual’, it may be necessary for Logic to send ‘The Individual’s’ personal details (including sensitive personal data) and/or CV to prospective employers both within and outside the EEA. Personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the EEA if that country has an inadequate level of data protection.
If you would like be removed from the Logic database, then e-mail Logic at info@logicrecruitment.com [4], stating your full name and any additional details that will help us locate your details.
• ‘The Individual’ is responsible for providing accurate, true, and complete information which relates to themselves. They must not provide untrue or misleading information or information that is likely to mislead. The data must also not be discriminatory, obscene, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation.
• Logic will use its sole discretion to determine ‘The Individual’s’ compliance with the above and shall have the right to prevent or block ‘The Individual’ from using the website.
• Although Logic uses reasonable efforts to ensure information from third parties is reliable, by using www.logicrecruitment.com [5] ‘The Individual’ is accepting the risk that the information contained on the website may not be accurate, reliable or complete.
Logic will not disclose information about ‘The Individual’s’ visits to Logic’s website or any personal details (for example, name, telephone number) ‘The Individual’ has provided as a result of registering via Logic’s website to any third parties without ‘The Individual’s prior consent except where legally allowed to and with regards to the statement concerning Disclosure of Personal data as outlined above.
Logic may collate and aggregate data about all visitors to their website as well as ‘The Individual’s (visitors’ IP addresses). Logic only uses this data to determine which services are most beneficial or appealing to users and how they can provide a better service to ‘The Individual’.
